Original Minimalist Painting

Geometric art and minimal art are usually thought of as two separate types of artwork but they can be combined, this geometric minimal painting is an example. it creates a sense of quiet space with rectangular shapes - perhaps a harbour? It was inspired by the view accross a lake in Canada on a very cold day and the painting has featured in several articles for the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.

Painted in watercolour since the subtleties of watercolour enable delicate blending which a photograph here on line cannot fully capture.

Geometry and minimalism combined to make a geometric minimal painting with apparently simple colours - no distractions.
