Contemporary War Paintings

The Great War or World War One has drawn me in many ways and as an artist I feel compelled to paint my feelings about that terrible conflict. This painting portrays the immense impact of the declaration of war unforeseen at the time. One colour, red and a few stark shapes make "The War Begins"
