Textured art called Heat Blind

Texture is used in this painting in the lower part. Letting the watercolour find its own way through the texture creates an intereting effect that would be impossible without the texturing compound.

The painting was inspired by the Arizona desert and painted in the UK. I visited that amazing part of the world several times to paint and Heat blind is one of many pieces.
