vibrant minimal painting - Energy

Vibracy happens with colour blending - the subtle changes of hue stimulate our eyes - we cannot distinguish between those changes and a kind of blurring occurs, that is one aprt of an explanation. The other part is it needs to be kicked off by an opposing colour and the choice for that is critical - get it wrong and any vibrancy vanishes.

Watercolour is used here to create this vibrant minimal painting. The blending colours and minimal design give a sense of buzzing space. The colour choice gives warmth and perhaps it contradicts that openess? The lines are enclosing and add a little tension.
