disturbing abstract figure painting - Intrusion

"Your eye is drawn immediately to  figures in a painting be it abstract or realism,so the artist had better make them interesting"

Those were the words of an art tutor to me some years ago. It is so true we humans inevitably are more intereted in the figures there rather than the place - at least at first. I wanted to create a disturbing abstract figure painting - I have used large rectangular shapes to frame the odd looking figures. Are you intruding by looking so closely? - the title Intrusion explains how these figures might feel about you observing them.
