acrylic abstract landscape paintings - Cutting Through

This artwork is one of a series of acrylic abstract landscape paintings inspired by the desert in New Mexico. As you approach a small town called Taos the road begins to climb quickly and enter a mountain pass. The Rio Grande is below on the left. It makes for an interesting drive. On return to England I had inspiration in spades from my experiences and this painting is one result.
