simple beautiful shape – Hijab Painting

The western world would call it a scarf and wear it without association of anything particularly important. If you are a Muslim woman you would call it a khimaar but non Muslims know it as the Hijab. Literally translated to English it means barrier and has become a symbol of disrespect for women in some circles. I have made this Hijab painting to show respect, such a simple beautiful shape.
